We built one.
The Royal is family-owned and genuinely run — not a concept, not a chain, not a franchise dressed up to look like a neighbourhood spot. We're the real thing, built from scratch in Bankview with one goal: be the pub this neighbourhood actually deserves.
That means wild boar taquitos on the menu alongside your classic burger. Fourteen taps pouring mostly Alberta craft beer. Twelve screens so you never miss a Flames game. A dog-friendly patio. A room where regulars are known by name after two visits.
Under new ownership since 2023, we've rebuilt everything — the menu, the atmosphere, the team. What hasn't changed is the commitment to making every visit worth coming back for.
